Opera 4 Beta 2 released

Last week the second beta of Opera Mini 4 came out. Especially the following improvements are interesting for BlackBerry users like me:
- Native menu for BlackBerry phones
- Lots of optimizations for BlackBerry phones
I tested it over the weekend and I have to say that I got a lot better in terms of usability. The native BlackBerry menu is much better and works without latency. The position of the menu points is clearer now – Ok and Previous address were placed different in old versions.
But there still are some bugs in the current version:
- With some frame pages and custom implementations of login/session handling
- I was not able to download and install the BlackBerry ALX file – after the installation there is no Opera icon
All in all I have to say that the Opera team improved a lot since the first beta but there is still a way to go.
