I already looked at pinstack and blackberryforums - but I think I will wait a little bit with the update. Maybe there is an official T-Mobile update soon. I would really like to see the deleting-messages-problem fixed

I don't know about a T-Mobile update, I heard the update will work, but you may have browser issues. You should drop by pinstack.com if you haven't already. It's a great place for all things BB. Tell 'em DCookSta sent you.

Seems this problem is fixed with the newest OS for the 8300. I upgraded to the Optus OS 4.2.2.114 and now screenshots work fine.

I tried the bbscreenshooter too, but it is not more than a UI calling the javaloader application - so it is obvious that it suffers from this problem

The author of the bbscreenshooter program has acknowledged this issue. He says it is a device OS issue with the javaloader application. He's waiting for a fix from them.

There are some posts on pinstack.com and most users with the Curve are having no problems with taking screenshots using the either the jl_cmdr application or bbscreenshooter. Now, I have the same error you do, but we seem to be in the minority.
