BlackBerry Curve officially announced by RIM

There have been a lot of rumors the last two days about the BlackBerry 8300 getting a consumer name like the BlackBerry Pearl.

One of the great new features is the new Desktop Media Manager – it allows easy file transfers, ripping CDs and photo editing. Additionally it is possible to upload photos taken with the 2 megapixel camera directly to your flickr account.
